O you who believe, fasting is prescribed to you as it was prescribed to those before you, that you may (learn) self-restraint.”
Qur’an 2: 183

The first night of Taraweeh will be Friday, February 28th, the first day of Ramadan will be Saturday, March 1st and Eid ul-Fitr will be on Sunday, March 30th, Insha’Allah.

Hafiz Sabir Qayliye, Hafiz Taha Asad and Br. Haris Asad will be leading the Ramadan Taraweeh prayers this year, In Sha Allah.

Iftaar every Saturday during Ramadan

In Sha Allah, We will have community iftaar on Saturday’s this Ramadan except for the last weekend. you can contribute to community iftaars via cash, check, or online payments.

Important: The masjid is not allowing iftaar parties to be hosted at the masjid this year due to the short amount of time between maghrib and Isha.

Zakaat-ul-fitr

Zakaat-ul-fitr is recommended to be at least $12 per person this year. It is due before Eid salaah and is to be paid for every member of the household
