Coronavirus (COVID-19) General Preparedness
- Symptoms
- Symptoms may appear 2-14 days after exposure.
- The Chester County Health Department states that an individual is only contagious when sick or showing symptoms.
- If you have any of the following symptoms, please call your doctor:
- Coughing
- Fever
- Shortness of breath
- Precautionary Hygiene Tips
- Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. If soap and water are unavailable, clean hands with at least a 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
- Cover your mouth with a tissue when coughing or sneezing. Dispose of the tissue in the trash. If a tissue is not available, cough or sneeze into your elbow.
- Avoid touching your mouth, nose, eyes, or face in general, with unwashed hands.
- Clean and disinfect frequently used items and surface areas.
- If you are not feeling well, stay home.
- Avoid close contact with individuals who are or appear to be sick.
- Community members that are 60+ in age, it is highly recommended that you refrain from leaving your home.
- Traveling
- If you or a family member have traveled to a CDC designated Level 3 country (currently includes China, Iran, Italy, and South Korea), or any other country, please do not visit the masjid, or leave your home, for at least 14 days upon returning to the United States.
- Supplies
- There is no harm in buying two weeks of staple supplies (medications, food, cleaning supplies, etc.) for your home.
- If you are unable to leave your home and you require supplies, please contact the ISCC Board via email (isccpaboard@yahoo.com) or phone (484-402-4561) for help.
