We would like to invite you to join an important conversation about Paid Family & Medical Leave (PFML) and a light lunch on Saturday January 11th at noon. We are bringing important community leaders and stakeholders like you together for a non-partisan and open conversation about this important topic, which could have a big impact on working people, communities, and businesses.

Please let us know if you can attend by Thursday 1/09/2020 by sending an email to abdul.mughees@gmail.com or bushrawasif@hotmail.com

Why now? Paid Family and Medical Leave is a hot topic this year, with every major presidential candidate proposing plans for what a federal plan could look like. Eight states have passed paid leave policies, and earlier this year a bi-partisan group of Pennsylvania legislators have proposed a plan for the commonwealth, too. So now is the time for community leaders to think about what that plan could look like, and share that input directly with decision makers. This is your chance to be at the table, ask questions about PFML, hear other stories, and share your perspective.

This event is part of a non-partisan Pennsylvania Paid Leave Listening Tour organized by MomsRising, a million-member network of parents mobilizing around family economic security issues
